Who we are

What we collect

We only ask for information when there is a clear reason for it. Depending on how you use the site, that can include:

• Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive the address and any name, message, or other details you choose to include.
• Your like. When you use the like button, the site creates a random browser identifier so it can remember whether this browser has liked the site and avoid counting the same browser repeatedly. We do not ask for your name to do this.
• Your preferences. Your light, dark, or system theme preference is stored in your browser. We also store your cookie-consent choice so we do not ask the same question on every visit.
• Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may receive ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser type, and the page requested.

Why we use it

We use information to respond to messages, operate and protect the website, keep the like feature working, remember preferences, and understand technical failures when something breaks.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for optional browser storage, on steps taken at your request when you contact us, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, useful website. We do not use this site to build an advertising profile about you.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not currently run advertising or analytics cookies. The site uses a small amount of browser storage for the features you can see:

• sagittarius-cookie-consent — remembers whether you accepted or declined the site's optional storage choice; kept for up to one year.
• sagittarius-theme — remembers your selected theme in local browser storage.
• sagittarius-like-client — a random identifier stored in local browser storage for the like feature.

You can change this choice at any time with the Cookie settings control in the footer or through your browser settings. If you decline optional storage, you can still browse the site; the like feature simply cannot remember your choice. If we add analytics, advertising, or other non-essential storage later, we will update this policy and ask for permission where required.

Who receives information

We may share information with the providers that host, secure, and deliver this website, but only as needed for those services. The site also loads the Geist typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's font services to retrieve the typeface. We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers.

Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we use the transfer mechanism required by applicable data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep emails for as long as we need them to handle the conversation or follow up on a business relationship. Browser preferences remain until you clear them or change your choice. Like data is kept only as long as the like feature needs it; the current public demo does not maintain a permanent user account or profile. Hosting providers may keep technical logs for their own security and operational periods.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, limit how it is used, object to certain uses, or receive it in a portable format. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live. In Sweden, that is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
